Bring me the annuity you were pitched. I’ll review it free and tell you what you really have.

Honest annuity reviews from someone who sells them, and will still tell you to walk away. No charge, no pressure. Sometimes the answer is: keep what you've got.

I don't need your business to tell you the truth.

Sound familiar?

"Someone talked me into it." "It appears very complicated." "Honestly, I don't even understand what I have."

If you were just pitched an annuity, at a dinner, by a bank, by an advisor, or you already own one you can't decode, you're in the right place. You don't need another sales pitch. You need someone to read the fine print and tell you, in plain English, what it actually does and what it costs.

Three steps. No charge. No pitch.

Step 1

Send me the contract

The policy or the illustration you were handed, whatever you've got.

Step 2

I read it

Every fee, surrender term, cap, and rider, translated into plain English.

Step 3

You get a straight read

What you really have, what it's costing you, and whether it's worth keeping.

Why a straight read costs you nothing.

When a product gets placed, the insurance company pays the commission, not you. I'll tell you exactly how that works. And I don't sell your information to the carriers I review, which is why I can say "don't buy this" and mean it.

How I actually get paid

I’ve reviewed the products you’re being sold, by name.

Not vague "annuities are good/bad" takes, but specific contracts, with the numbers. Twenty years on retirement income and annuities, licensed in all 50 states, and a published track record of calling products straight, even the popular ones.

What people ask before they send a contract.

What's your commission on this?

Fair question. Ask it of everyone. When a product gets placed, the insurance company pays the commission, not you. I’ll tell you exactly how I’m paid and why I’m recommending what I’m recommending. If transparency makes you trust the advice more, good. That’s the point.

The fees are too high.

Often they are, and most people are never shown them clearly. The flip side: you can frequently get more income by avoiding the riders you’re upsold. I’ll lay out every cost in plain numbers so you can decide if it’s worth it. Sometimes it isn’t.

I don't want to lose control of my money.

Then we agree. "Never locked in" is the whole point of how I do this. You keep access and control. If a strategy takes that away, I won’t recommend it.

I already own one and I don't understand it.

That’s the most common reason people reach out. Send it over. I’ll read the contract and tell you in plain English what you have, what it costs, and whether it’s worth keeping.

What if I die early? Does the company keep it all?

Depends on how it’s structured, and it’s a common trap. There are ways to keep your money in your estate. I’ll show you which structures protect your heirs.

You’ve been to the dinner. You know the feeling: someone who sees a commission, not a person, telling you this is perfect for you.

I sell annuities. I also tell people not to buy them all the time. I didn’t even sell one to my own dad, because it wasn’t right for him. Reviewing the products honestly, by name, is how I earn the right to be the one you call.

Send me what you were pitched. I’ll give it to you straight, and you decide.
